This guide is based on using the inbuilt features of Windows XP and Vista.

1. Click 'Start'
   
2. Right Click on 'My Computer'
3. On the menu which pops up choose 'Map Network Drive'
4. This will bring up a new box. The option you need is towards the bottom of this box. In XP the link says 'Sign up for online storage or connect to a network server'. The option in Vista is called 'Connect to a website that you can use to store your documents and pictures'.
5. This will bring up yet another box.
6. Click 'next' to the first screen.
7. Choose a 'Custom Network Location'
8. Enter the address in the format: 'ftp://USER:PASS@server.ipdrive.co.uk'
   
9. Click 'Next'
   
10. Give your connection a name and click 'Next'
11. Finally Click finish.
